days 1-2 [picture post #1]

{warning: LONG picture post ahead.  i haven't had time to edit/watermark a lot of these.  so if you steal, i will hunt you down and kill you.  understood? *wink*  also, you'll notice that sometimes plymouth spelled plimoth.  plimoth is the old english spelling, plymouth is the modern spelling.}

Edit: I forgot to mention!  Today was my first blogaversary for Walk! :-D  Hurrah!  Giveaway, anyone?  Maybe, maybe...

Day 1: Traveling & Plymouth
Grandma and I had to leave insanely early.  We flew with the sun!
Oh yes. I love to fly. <3
At the Baltimore/Washington Airport.  my first time in Maryland!
The flight from Maryland to Providence, Rhode Island, was short and rather miserable.  my ears kept aching. :-(
Haha, Julie misspelled my name. :-P
Zachary showing off...
...and Ben showing off. ;-)
*shakes head* Boys.
Ben: the flying monkey

That night, we drove around Plymouth. <3
the house that Grandpa and Auntie Phyl grew up in.  Those trees were planted around the time they were born.
Uncle John and Ben.  No, John isn't short....Ben is tall.  Very tall.
Grandma and Zack-Man. ;-)
The local candy store...AKA, one of Zack's favourite places.  Basically, any place with  candy and/or ice cream is Zack's favourite place.  hehe.
Ben playing some music
Day 2: Cape Cod, the ocean, & lobstahs!
Going over the bridge to Cape Cod
We went to a beach at Cape Cod where the water came inland and made a little river  that wove through a couple acres of ...basically, marshland.
Some crabs that a little boy caught and let me take a picture of...
Zack and I went clamming....sadly, we weren't allowed to take the clams home.  And the smudge on my camera?  A drop of water made its way to my lens. :-P

The OCEAN!

I took so many pictures of the ocean.  This is one of my favourites; I love how the wave has been captured.
It was low tide, so there were a lot of little shells and creatures...I found this dead crab and made it pose. ;-)
Sadie, their dog.  Such a good girl!
John brought some some lobsters...ahem, lobstahs, for dinner.
Yes....it was alive!
Yup, lobsters are only red AFTER they're boiled!

Did Zack get the lobster...or did the lobster get him?!?!?!
Part 2 coming soon!

  1. It looks like you had such a great time! Lobster wouldn't be my top choice for dinner. What did you think of it?

I'm so glad that you had a chance to go on an exciting trip like that. I can't wait for part two!
